What’s on the menu?



So I’ve been a good girl today. No snacking, resisted all Christmas chocolates again plus no break time biscuits. Someone bought me a cheese Christmas hamper as a thank you gift; which will be given to my team tomorrow as that’s so generous but not in keeping with weight loss!
Lunch today… Salad leaves, tomato, sweetcorn couple of slices of ham and a small samosa, plus an orange. I’m trying to chew more times to eat more slowly. Seems to be working as although I’m hungry, not quite as bad as yesterday.
So tonight, oven cooked salmon (20 mins in oven wrapped in foil with some oil and seasoning) plus a concoction… Using up leftover chickpeas and pearl barley, probably mixed with some tomato purée. Makes a change from rice. All good filling ingredients:
likely served with courgette, steamed of course! Fingers crossed it tastes okay.
